General Maintenance & Repairs - Manual headlight control stripped!

I need help! The gear is stripped on one of our headlights but I found when I went to repair it that the manual headlight control is stripped so I can't raise the headlight manaully. How can I do this so I can replace the motor assembly? Thanks!

Maybe come in from underneath and take the nut off that holds the arm to the motor. Then you can just pull up on it.
