I have a 98 vette with an M6. I just blew out my clutch and replaced it with a Mcleod dual disk. This clutch has unbelievable grab. I wanted to start upgrading my trany so that it can handle the power. My car has 607rwhp. What trany upgrades are there for the M6. I have the stock 3.73 rear end. I do not want to go to 3.90 or 4.10. As it is right now 1st gear is all tire smoke so I cant imagine what would happend with 3.90 or 4.10.

Oh by the way Iam not to worried about the cost Iam just looking for some solid Ideas and detailed info! Tanks in advance.

Only upgrade I know of is steel shift forks but they aren't making the tranny any stronger. You could have all the parts cryogenically treated I guess.

I've seen 2 M6 Corvettes rip apart output shafts which took out the tranny and rear when they broke
