Default Prelim Pics of The New Look

These are just prelim pics as the car and wheels aren't cleaned up at all in these but I got the new wheels on yesterday so pics last night were a must. Still have some things left to do including new tint that will be a bit darker, repainting the calipers red with chrome brackets and "Trans Am" overlays, and a few other small things. I had the 17" ROH Snypers on for a while and the car had a very sleek and clean look to it IMO, but with the upcoming T56 swap I wanted a new look to match the attitude of where the car is headed a bit more... going for a mean looking street car. I thought these wheels would go a long way towards getting me where I wanted to go. I didnt know about the black at first but now that its on there and I look at the car with that massive 3" lip and the meaty 295 DRs out back I know I made the right choice.

When I get a chance to really clean the car up and borrow the good camera I'll have some better shots up. Might grab a few better pics in daylight here in a bit with the little point and shoot I used for these as well. Just a little sneak peek to give you an idea though...

The Old Look:

Nothing. They are stacked up in the corner of my dining room. The rear tires were worn down enough that they were no longer safe to drive in the rain and the front tires didn't have much left on them either. It was new tire time so I figured I'd change up the wheels too and recoup some of the cost of the new wheels by selling my old ones. They have some blemishes but overall they are in decent shape. 17x9 ROH Snypers and I'm asking $500 for the wheels and tires. If no one bites on that I'm going to take them down to Joshua (Firehawk#608) and have him polish them up. That'll get the finish on them like new and then I'll plan on selling the wheels alone for $1000 (normally $850 new for just the wheels, plus $450 for the polishing by Joshua and the price of the trip to and from Atlanta for the polishing makes $1000 for the wheels a fair price after all that).

hahahaha, sounds like me. But when I run out of room in my little shed outside I start stacking everything in my BR. I think the black rims look much better, the whole car looks great

Lookin' good Josh. It would look even better if you still had those G2 springs in it

That hood is growing on me more and more. One of these days I may have to ditch the WS6, and scoup up a Raptor hood.

Dont get me started on that molding. I wrecked the car in the front ever so slightly and thats when I got the hood on there a few years back. Well they replaced the entire front clip and blended into the doors, and when they did they didn't remove the side molding to do it so when I tried to remove it later the paint underneath was all screwed up. So until I can pony up the bills for a new paint job (which will be a slight variation on a factory Ferrari red and go down next year) I'm stuck with the side molding.
