Multimedia Exchange - My car :)

Being that I'm new here, I'll start off by saying hello. This is just a little video of my SRT4. The mods to the car are on the video. I know it's not most of you guys, cup of tea. Times change, I just happened to land in a skittle, it was the most fun I could have for the money. I wanted a turbo car, that had balls, so I got this. I'm a car nut, I like anything that goes like stink. I'm all about making things go faster. I've owned everything from a 72 chevelle, 92 foxbox, 2000SS w\bottle, I like mean cars. Now this doesn't fit the mold of my prior cars, in any way, except one, performance. Now it doesn't do shit from a stop with street tires, from a roll, this car would almost wipe the floor, with all my prior cars, except the LS1! She is a beast, making about 150hp\liter, to the ground. Out of all the cars I've had, this one is probably the most fun, why, because most look at it and laugh, but they have no idea, about what is about to hit them. 4 seats, doors, cylinders, it's got everything stacked against it, but it just friggin goes. It's not a stop light getter, with street tires, but hopefully soon with a set of slicks, I can see what it will really do, 12.8 at 114 on streets ain't cutting it. I go out in the country side, or to my special test area. I don't just drive down the road, turn on the camera, and go to town. I prefer to drive the area at least twice, look for anything in the road, or along side of it, if there is, no go. But if all is clear, I make a pass. On the topspeed test, it took about 2\3 hours of waiting, and when it was clear, I did the pass. At around 4am, only after about 4\5 passes threw the area. I try to be as safe as I can, wear a helmet, seat belt, but if I do fuk up, I'm killing a deer, tree, or myself. I go to areas, where there isn't no one around, i'm a crazyman, but I don't want to hurt any innocent peeps. :devil: I haven't dynoed it, but I know it's putting out between 350-370whp, and torque to match, coming in as low as 2800rpm. The kit is rated at 355 and 365 with HOM, pump is rated at 310 and 325. All I have done to the car, is stg3 with toys, a turbo back 3" exhaust with a cat, drop in K&N, bov, STS, and thats really it. All stock everywhere else, intercooler, clutch, hardpipes, tb, I just got the K&N like 2 weeks ago. :) on the stock box. :jest: That's the way it runs, you seen it, I know it will put down 350whp. Maybe that could be this weekends project, get a little dyno time, so we can see. All that aside, what do you guys think it will run, when I get some 8inch wide slicks, to run, instead of the kumho, ecsta MX 215\45 that the car has on it, the first and only time to the track??? Running a 12.8 at 114?????? That's the million dollar question, I want answered. :lurk: As you can see traction owns this car for the moment. I just can't wait to get a chance to run with a set of slicks, and see what a improvement, it will make. :gay: the car only has 12inches of street tire, it's like trying to ball, with dress shoes. Never seen an srt4 make that much power to the wheels on the stock turbo....are your power guesses on pump gas or race gas on HOM.??

How much do they weigh?

Welcome to the forums. Nice little car but please dont use the ricer talk around here. HP per liter just sounds so gay, and moreover you probably won't find anyone here who gives a damn.

That aside, the ideal ET for that MPH would be mid 11's. However, with a stick and even worse, FWD, I would guess low 12's would be about the best you'll see even with slicks.

Yep, I've always liked those skittle cars. My friend has a black skittle with only exhaust modifications (no cats, etc). IMO, it's the best 4 banger I've ever driven. Very impressive car. BTW, please choose other roads to drive fast on. Driving 120 MPH in a residential area is just ignorant and stupid. :mad:
