TFS LS1/LS2 Heads In Stock, Ready To Ship!!!
So many people are accustomed to waiting weeks or months for their heads, so I thought I would make a post to let everyone know we have these in stock and ready to ship.
These ALL NEW heads feature rolled over valve angles for increased piston to valve clearance, relocated spark plug position for better mid lift flow and a stronger spark plug boss area and stock length LS valves. The valve cover rail is raised so slightly that it doesn't interfere with anything else, so there is no need to relocate your alternator.
The LS1 head has 2.04/1.57 valve diameters and the LS2 has 2.055/1.57 valve diameters. We sell these heads bare, complete, and even with custom setups for solid roller. The heads have valve guides that have an I.D. of .310", so they will work with 5/16 solid roller valves without having to change the guides. I have attached some pictures taken by a customer John Norris that shows the detail of the chamber, the reinforced rocker stud boss, you can also see how the spark plug was slightly relocated which helps produce better mid lift flow. John went 10's on motor with his heads.
Dealer inquiries are welcome.

You have 3.90" bore LS6 heads, these are designed for a 4.00" bore, so kinda apples to oranges. The TFS LS1 heads are probably 10-15 HP better then the LS6 heads we do, which is saying a lot considering our LS6 heads have made 450 RWHP with a LS6 intake.

also... do you have any flow numbers up to .700 on the exhaust and intake by chance on the 4.030 bore?
also how big is the runner on these? how big are the combustion chambers that you flowed
what are some of the thicknesses of this head?
are the valves placed in a different location than stock or are they just angled different... i ask this cause i already have my pistons fly cut for some stock 241 heads and wondering if i'd have to have them re-fly cut for these if i chose them this winter...
sorry for soo many questions just curious about a new player in the head market.

We came out with a "LS2" head for a 6.0 liter, 4.00" bore LS2, it has a 2.05 intake valve and a 225 cc intake port, those are the flow numbers referenced above.
We port stock LS6/LS2 heads as well, we port the chamber according to the bore of the engine, i.e. 3.90 for a 5.7 and 4.00 for a 6.0/LS2/400+ etc.

How much longer pushrods are these going to be using? I know the ETs are using signifcantly longer PRs, I just want to see how much more flexing these will be having since they probably will be longer than stock.
