Just curious about this, i guess im trying to make myself feel better or something.lol. I have spent $1,050 on mine in repairs. That was all due to a bad rear end and i just replaced to whole thing. I still have alot of stuff that needs/has to be done soon. This is my second camaro and its the second one that ive had nothing but trouble out of, but i still love it at the end of the day/

I had to spend $212 today to have my PCM recalibrated by GM because Diablosport sent me a bad tune.
My 95 Formula would murder transmissions,I shattered a flex plate, smoked the rear end but thats about the only mechanical problems I had out of that car that wouldnt be considered wear/tear.

oh and my fuel pump went out, only because i tried seeing how far i could go on E :bang: i then replaced it with a racetronix fuel pump kit w/ harness and never looked back :)

Fog lamps -10
Brake's -150
Wheel bearing- 100 bucks
Fuel filter - 10
Spark plugs - 55
Crack in doors fiber glass - 250
Repairs from ditch banging it - 700
Header Gaskets - 20

1,145? Plus 200 for my shifter and stick, that's 1,345 plus the 5600 I paid for it, 6,945.

Count my int replacement from tan to black?

seats 350
Fusion and Vinyl/carpet sprays and dyes, and prep materials -100
T-handle shifter, along with a hurst ball- 55
Switches - 10
-515

Which brings my cars grand total to 7460 before ceta conversion * 300 * and rims * 80 *

Seven thousand, eight hundred and forty dollars. Hard to belive that I have almost eight grand into my car, doesnt seem like I've put that much in it, god damn the money goes fast. I still have a few k of upgrades to do yet.

I plan on spending around 1500 durring my cam swap including valve train, new headers and Y, 500 bucks, thats another 2 grand, then I still have to finish my int, which is gonna be another 500-600 bucks, then my n2o kits gonna be about a K all together, add a few more misc shit ball things along the way and thats another 4 grand. New wheels/tires, easy 1000 bucks there, with springs and struts another 500, 5500 bucks, then a WS6 hood plus painting it should be around five hundred. So ~6000 dollars in plans, if everything goes as planed, my car will have about 14k into it, and still only be worth five grand.

My friends $6000 bargain car has cost him nearly $11000 total, and still needs the tranny rebuilt and the full car stripped and painted. He'll be at $15k and be driving a stock LT1 with 90k miles, because he bought a car that was torn to shit and has torn the shit out of it himself. This is exactly why I'd like to spend a bit more and get a nice car and take care of it.

I've spent as much on it, as I paid for it, and I'm not even close to done. :jest:

One day I'll buy a Cherry 2002 SS, swap the good parts, then sell the '98 for peanuts and have a garage queen with balls out hardware on it. Only thing that won't transfer are the weld-in SFC's.................. unless I get grinder happy........... which is likely. :D
