steering wheel replacement... i have a 98 with the original steering wheel after 126k miles and the top of its coming apart. is there anyway i can attain one from any year camaro and replace it and still have proper airbag function?

Im pretty sure that you can take your wheel off and find one that is the same design and put your bag back in then it air bags will work. Don't forget to disconnect the battery before doing any work.
