Default need help cleaning tail light on a TA

one of my tail lights on my TA is so dark u can barely see it lit up at night, i was wondering how to clean out the whole assembly, and with what. i just thought i would ask for some advice before i take it off the car. thanks

Is this something built up inside the housing? If its on the outside use the mothers powerball w/ plastic polish...works great.

You could try seperating the lens so you can get at the inside but I don't know if you can clean it off. I think it gets dark from condensation forming in it--at least mine did.

i took off my lens from my 96 firebird and it was a b*tch to get off, . . stick it in the oven to melt the adhesive and try taking it off slowly, . .if your not careful you'll crack it, . .

its on the inside. the funny thing is that it is only the right one the left one look fine. i thought it would be pretty hard to clean being that there are only the small holes for the lights. do u think soaking it in a soap bath might help, it really didnt want to try and take it apart just thinking about that gives me a headache.
