Default exhaust manifolds

im gonna build my own single turbo underhood setup and would like to know what most of you guys used for your exhaust manifolds. i want to keap A/C but relocate the battery.
did you reuse your stock manifolds?
has anyone used two drivers side manifolds(one on passenger side facing up)?
did you have custom made manifolds or headers? is their a performance difference between the two?
would it be worthwhile to extrude hone or ceramic coat the stock manifolds?

I had my headers custom made and there is a performance difference, it probably depends on what your end goal is, for most cars manifold setups will be 100% ok.

Truck manifolds work well but you'll lose your ac. There's a thread about them stickied at the top of this forum. Ceramic coating will help a lot with under hood temps. I plan on coating mine after my build up is complete.
