I am looking to get into the twelves. My current mods are;

3.23 Stock Gears, VIG 3200, FLT TRANSMISSION level 3 Transmission, Comp Cam 231/237, KOOKS Headers+ORY, BORLAMOUTH, SLP Lid/K&N, SLP Pulley, Ported TB, . Speed Inc DYNO TUNE.
TUNE TT2's. 315/35Nitto's.


For those whom have experience and those who can give input; Do you guys think that I will be able to get into mid to low 12's with the above mods?? Do I need something more? Your Input is greatly appreciated.

get a good set of tire and i think you could honestly touch high 11's.

You should be able to get into the mid 12s without the cam. Low 12s with, and if you are lucky a high 11 pass.

Assuming tuning, traction, and weather (DA).

Hell you should be in the mid 12s with just the converter and tires.

You should be pushing 11's with those mods. My vig3200 netted me 12's on street tires with a lid and catback.

Great!! Looks like I will be knocking on 11's door! Just wanted to make sure of what these mods along with the 231/237 Comp Cam package will bring. Eventually next year I will get good heads to match my combo.

Dude with a good 60' You could hit HIGH 11's with a cam like that! A friend of mine with full bolt ons and a baby cam only making 345rwhp cut a 12.55 with a 2.1 60'

You'll put a hurting on those Nittos...grab some 255 50 R16 M/T radials on 16x8 stockers...you'll be very happy...With that cam you may want a bit more stall speed, but you'll be deep 12s I think...I went consistent 1.55 60's with those M/Ts...17" wheels/tires don't have the sidewall you'll need to hit that converter...I do agree that with a good launch 11s are possible, too...

A stock F-body with a Vig 3200 is a 12 second car. With your mods and some traction I would expect mid to low 12s.
