I think I am gonna use my oem Z06 rims for the drag strip. Which tires should I put on them? Does MT make the ET street radials in 18's? or should I stick with nitto NT555 DR's?

MT is supposed to be making an 18 but havent yet, i'd go with the BFG drag radial right now

my buddy had them on 17x11 ZR1 on a 2000 SS with a cam and bolt ons and he said they were horrible. did a 2.3 60ft.

really, sure they were the DR's? I'm pretty sure they hook better then Nitto's

I don't think I'll buy another set of Nitto DR's. I've got the 315 555r's and now that I have a rear end and drive shaft, I can't get them to stick under harder launches. The best 60' I've cut with them is a 1.90, but usually its around 1.95's.
