Default 5.3 based 385cid based rebuild?

I have a older 385 stroker motor using a 5.3 block. It has a 3.905 inch bore. I have heard that there is a little more room on some 5.3 blocks. (more than on a stock sleeve 5.7 is this true?) Im going to build another motor for my camaro using a 6L block but I want to refresh the 385 based 5.3 with another over bore for another car. Or was I was pushing it with the 3.905 bore to begin with?

BTW-this motor has servived 18 plus pounds of boost and 840 RWHP plus.

I dont think it will take any more.
We have a few 5.3 blocks that we were thinking about building. Its a great way to a forged iron 347 or more with a little stroke.
