Default 400-410 rwhp

I was wondering if any one thinks that a 4l60e can handle that kind of power? The trans. has a cooler and adeeper trans.pan.I am getting a cam(tr224/112lsa) put in,I already have long tubes, loudmouth, lid 3500stall.I know I wont hit those numbers, but lets say I hit 360rwhp I was gonna do a nitrous 50 shot to get me there. So basically it would not be putting 400-410 to the wheels all the time only will use at the track or if someone has a faster car on the streets and thats the only time Ill have those numbers vs. a head and cam car that make that all the time.
thanks john

Ehh, its very hit an miss, some trannys fail on stock power, others don't, i think you'll be fine on teh 360rwhp, and a 50shot shouldn't hit hard, but you have to expect it to go out sooner or later.

I'm at 400rwhp and am on my 3rd year with a built 4L60E...5 gear planetaries front and rear, and HD everything...So far so good, and I don't baby it in any way...I do service it every year...I guess it all depends on who builds it...

IMO, a stock 4L60e won't last long at 410hp.

I toasted mine on the first night of nitrous launches.

The built 4L60 that I have now is holding up just fine, but the TC didn't.
