Noise I have a 2002 M-6 with 14,000 miles and I just started getting a clicking noise maybe even a "chatter" (I don't know what that sounds like) at the top of 1,2 3,. It's driving me nuts. Anybody know what this might be.
Can I rule out an accessory?

You say the noise happens at the top of selected gears, therefore it is prolly something getting"excited" by the vibe. Ckeck out the mounts for looseness. Also your shifter handle bolts. ... anything that vibrates/rattles.
