Default John Goebel Transmission Done... Pics

I live in Waco TX, (where johns based)

First Pics.. That Big Block right there makes 5xx hp and 5xx torque.. thats what he straps the tranny to and dynos it, makes sure its tuned right.. did some 1/4 passes for me aswell

Here's what I went in with.. Shitty "performance built tranny... was never rebuilt we found out.. w/ shiftkit and a stall converter (Vig 2800)"

Here's what I left with and the bill..

Gasket Overhaul Kit - $41.10
Raybestos Clutches x 16 $62.40
3/4 Z-Pack (clutches/steels) $76.90 (These are brand new from Raybestos they just won't burn up)
2nd /OD Band (Raybestos) $26.96
Filter $7.75
Steels Plates (Fwd/Revers) x10 $30
Bushing Kit $29.79
Rubber Pistons Overrun/Fwd x2 $27
Force Motor $36.45
Shift Solenoid $10
Reverse Drum Anti Rotator $10
Pump Drive Rotor/4130 $225 (Custom Billet Piece or something.. its bullet proof your pump just wont be a issue ever again with this piece)
Vane & Ring Kit (trans-go) $48.70
H.P. Belle $49.97
Shift Kit/VB-Accum-Plate-Pump $110
Forward Sprag Assm. $85
Cryoed Parts $45
Converter Stator (to change my conveter from 2800 (really 3200) to around 3500-3700) $100
Converter Needle Bearing $14.03

Shipping: Cryo-Shipping: $30

Labor: Rebuild Unit/Bench $375
Cut/Weld/Machine Converter $75
Reverse Drum Anti-Rotator Machine $30

Total in Parts $1,104.78 (he only makes $100 off marking up the parts)
Total Labor $480
Tax $85.62
Dyno Charge $100

Total $1,770.40

Now im ready for the street

He told me its a really lose converter (but its in great condition and it stalls like a mother) might take a really good tuner to tune it in but we got Moe here locally (lives 4 streets over from me, and john said he can do it)

Good luck with it. I've known several guys to get Goebel stuff. Some of it works, some of it doesn't. Honestly, get some time with it before hyping it more. Just my opinion.
