At least in my opinion. I'm liking this look. The new S-Class is a little bulky IMO with it's flared fenders and banglesque ASS and the new CL is a bit bland in non AMG form. The new C however... WOW. Just WOW. IMO Audi has been the only German manufacturer (out of BMW, Merc and Audi) that has been building sharp looking vehicles. Mercs are beginning to look a bit bloated and Chris Bangle fucked up BMWs entire lineup in terms of exterior design save for the Z4 Coupe. IMO the W204 has the looks to go head to head with Audi's sassy looking B7 A4 and both cars have more style than BMWs whack looking E90 3er. I'm liking that Mercedes decided to equip the more powerful C-Class variants with manual transmissions (when they replaced the 215hp C320 with the 270hp C350 last year they added a 6 speed option) save of course for the slushbox only C55 AMG. Yes I know it's the cheapest car to carry the Mercedes name, but the W204s design is my favorite of the new space age looking Benzs. This shit is hot if you ask me. The tailights are a nice edgy touch. They look like they were cribbed from the current Epsilon based Saab 9-3 with an edgy Aston Martin twist. Merc's new edgy design themes definitely work better on smaller cars.

BTW according to TCC the W204 AMG model will still use a 5.4L V8 (which implies a variant of the current SOHC 5.4L V8 in the current C55 AMG) but mules with AMGs new 6.2L baby have been seen at "der Ring." It is unclear whether Mercedes will build W203 Ubersedans before the car is retired or whether the W204 will in fact get the 6.2L motor when it arrives in AMG form.

Well I suppose we just have completely different styling tastes. That car does nothing for me, while I think the Bangle Bimmers are pretty good looking cars. The new Audis are the worst designs i've seen from the company IMO. That grille just looks like a mistake to me.

Oh well. These are all cars i'd never even consider buying anyway (save maybe the M3).

I've been a huge fan of the current C-Class, but this blows me away! Gorgeous!
