Default Need a quick question answered.. tranny cooler..

Well I just got my tranny back frm john (1700) we are gonna reuse my tranny cooler that came on the car when I bought it... the tranny cooler runs tranny fluid through it right?? because my radiator had some water in it lol and im sure the jackasses woulda done the same thing to the tranny cooler if they could have.. both my rad and tranny thign flushed fine my mechanic said hed recommend buying a new trnany cooler but i am at budgets end ($9600) for the whole car

After spending 9600 I would not balk at another 60 to 75 bucks for a good cooler.
This is one of the best things you can do to keep that tranny alive.
Spend the money.

my mechanic said autozone or oriely's will hav'm so i looked online and ya all different sizes.. the one on the car now is eh about 12 x 10 is that what im shooting for or what?

Yeah that would work.
I run a B&M Hi Tek cooler with the AN fittings. Works very well with my setup. It runs so cool I don't need a fan.
