Galveston Cruise August 19th Ok Guys, Last time we had a great turnout, lets see if we can get a better one this time.
Lets get together on a Saturday this time. It will give more people a chance to come out, and if some of us wanna do something after the run, we can because we wont have to work the next day..hopefully.
So, same as last time, lets meet at the AMC 30 at the Beltway and 45S at 12:00. I'm guessing we'll be waiting for a while for everybody to show up but hopefully we can leave by 12:45.
We can head down to Cherry Hill and take some pics, and bs for a while, then head down the Strand and grab a burger at the Spot again, hang out, have a few beers.
Maybe after that cruise down the seawall, find a place to line up the cars and take some more pics and hang out on the beach, give the people on the strand a good show.
After that who knows, maybe we'll go to Home Depot, I dont know if we're gonna have time....
Post up if you think you'll go. I think we had around 20 cars last time, lets try to beat that mark.
And maybe we could possibly make this a sticky until then?

OK Guys, I called The Spot today and made reservations so we can all sit in the same area. I went ahead and reserved the upstairs "conference" room that seats 55 people and if we have more than that, they have another room adjacent to it that seats another 20. So, we should be all set to go. They are expecting us to be there between 3:00 and 3:30. So far everything looks good to go. Lets keep this at the top and get some more cars!!
Just want to make sure everybody is prepared for the run.
Please, try to fill your cars up before hand, that way nobody will get split up during the cruise from having to exit 45. Also, you might want to bring sunscreen and some drinks. It's gonna be hot. Its Texas and its August so be prepared.
If you have a camera, try to bring it. Take as many pics as you can. I can host the pics and the more we have, the better.
If anybody needs to get in touch with me tomorrow, my cell number is 979 482 4723. We're gonna try to leave the AMC by 12:45 so try to be on time.

its great that someone else other then me is setting up a cruise. count me in. and like Tumblr said, lets all try to stay together this time. ill see if my friend with the SS can come out this time. and hopefully it isnt as hot as last time either.

I'm putting down all the maybes as attendees. Hopefully with this many people signing up, it will entice more people to make it.
