I don't know if I believe the part about her not mentioning that she is the mayor's daughter.

I would have been trying to talk my way out of that one if I was her, it will somehow get dismissed though.

According to Mayor Bill White, "Our daughter Elena is a fine young person who we love and who made a bad decision, violating household rules and possibly the law. It is good that she was treated with impartiality and we are glad she is safe
possibly the law? Did the law change or something.

So do we have to consider Osama Bin Laden innocent because he hasn't been proven guilty in a court of law yet?

"As for driving without lights, the mayor says his daughter was driving his car, a Toyota Prius, an energy saving car where the lights do not automatically turn on."

So since my headlights don't automatically turn on... Does that mean my '01 T/A is an energy saving car?

Authorites say there was no alcohol found in the car, and Elena was alone. These are all factors, our legal expert says, will work to her favor.

she was already drunk

She failed the ABC's test or touch your nose test. Refused to blow, and or give urine/ blood sample.

she knows she wont pass

and as stated earlier, 1. Underage drinking; 2. Out past curfew; 3. Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol.

Guilty, Guilty, Guilty

End result, probably a mistrail... not enough evidence... etc, etc, etc....

He came off as a total tool on the news. Kept citing his disappointment she broke the household curfew rule.

But it says on the bottom of that article and i remember from traffic school, under 21 and refusing a sobriety test is automatic 1 year suspension of license.... I sure as hell hope she doesnt get off (at least the 1 yr suspension) because she is some ******** daughter. Thats bullshit. If it was anyone of us, we are SOL, and we might learn our lesson, and we'd be laughed out of the courthousing asking for a break...
