Not worth it, I have seen super clean ones with next to nothing miles sell for $25K, its an 89 not a 69. I dont know why they think a hard top warrants that kind of price increase. Theirs rarer 89 TTA out there, I have read of one not being white and another being a convertible. Also if I wanted to spend the money on one, I would want to mod any way, no fun to leave it alone.

There were 1550 20th turbos made, and according to the information I have:

All were white with camel colored interiors

2 convertibles
33 coupes without t-tops
1515 coupes with t-tops

Worth $80K? Not in my opinion, but I've seen really low mileage (under 1,000 miles without decals applied) go for $35-40K, so I can see the non t-top versions going for a little more, but not that much.

I agree. The price seems a little high. I know where there's one sitting with just over 1,000 miles on the odometer, and it's still got all the "as delivered" plastic wrap protecting the interior.

Can find other cars that have that classic appeal and looks for less. Car is overpriced , but hey who can blame him if someone is willing to take the bait and buy. I'd rather have a 67 vert Vette that would turn more heads and possibly win more shows if that your inclination.

That is a $20K car all day long. I would gladly buy that car if he included $60K in cash in the trunk.

Opinions, we all have 'em.

Fact is there have already been numerous T-tops trading for $30-$40K in the last year (and I don't mean at Barrett-Jackson either), so a hardtop should garner more. But just my $.02

If the car is a legit 89 TTA with low miles, good luck finding one for 20 grand. Still, $80,000 is really pushing it.

I have not seen one bone stock TTA go for over $25K in many many years.

I hope this drives the price up on these cars! It will make mine seem more affordable if and when I try to sell it. They are very fun cars you have to give them that, I really like mine.

Is it worth $80k--Noway but if it drives up the price of all TTAs cool!

that guy is trying to cash in off predictions. Basically he says it'll be worth 80K in another couple of decades but I want you to give me its future value and take all the risk making sure it doesn't get wrecked, damaged, or otherwise lose its predicted value after another 20 years. Ridiculous if you ask me
