Default Going to Procharge my '04 Tahoe; looking for 400 horse.

I recently received literature from Procharger about their kit for one of my vehicles, my Tahoe specifically. My target goal is 400 at the wheel. I dynoed the truck stock and put down 247 rear wheel horsepower with the 5.3 optioned Lt with 3.73 gears. The unit from Procharger is a P1-SC with an intercooler rated at 8-9 psi. Will I also need a aftermarket exhaust to make this number?...400 rear wheel. Any members having problem with their setup?

Definitely spring for aftermarket exhaust. That'd be a lot of backpressure building up...

According to my calculations, the truck should make over 350 rear wheel with 9 psi if I already have 247 presently. Yes, I will do some minor exhaust work. I still however am unsure if this would reach my goal. The other option I have considered is installing a small cam with a 114 plus lobe sep that would have drivability as near stock as possible. Such a small cam may not help too much, but it could however offer the extra 25-30 horse at the wheel to reach the 400 horse target.

We typically see an increase of 140 rwhp with 8 psi of boost. Some make a little more, some slightly less. Headers and a good exhaust system would help get you to the 400 rwhp mark. You would be very close to 400, and may possibly hit it with the above combination. Adding a blower camshaft would certainly put you over 400 rwhp.
