Has anyone seen this? What do you think about camaros with them? Where do you get them from if so and what do you have to do?

1st... you need .. a big red "R" on the side or rear of your car

2nd.. a coffee can for a muffler

3rd.. you need to start adding stickers, like NAWZ, "Powered by Honda", Greddy, HKS, NOPI, APC, ect.

4th.. some yellow seats or seat covers from Pep Boys

5th.. ground effects from Ebay.. or you can also substitute this for a GT Wing

then.. and only then, will you be ready for the "lambo" doors..

My friend wants to do this, if he does I'll post pics up. Although I don't see it happening anytime soon. I think there are pics of them with those doors in the cheesiest F-bodies thread.

I've seen it and I don't like it at all. Guys that usually have them come across alot of problems such as the hydrualics going bad and also damge to their fenders, due to opening it to far. Here is a pic I found.

I think it is good in theory but fails in practice. I half-heartedly considered the idea and looked on a few sites and decided that the conversion solves no problems, creates problems, and does nothing good for appearance. I looked into it because of the obvious problems of opening the car doors in crowded situations. The doors are very wide and open very wide. The conversions seem to actually restrict access to the car since you end up ducking under the doors. If a kit was made that functioned better that would be different but I don't believe that is possible since the car wasn't designed that way.

I just figured since the doors are alot like the lambos long and heavy, it might be something to consider. I dont think it looks bad, but then again it is kinda importish.

The problem with the lambo doors is that our cars are not lambos. I think its a waste of money but hey what ever floats your boat.

Ive seen true lambo doors done on maros and they look great, despite what these **** ls1tech members think. You would have to do some moddin to the the side front panel where it meets the side view mirror like the the gray camaro. I believe thats a Vertical Doors Inc kit.

See you can't really make "lambo" doors. All these aftermarket doors don't go straight up, they either go out and then up or they go kinda diagnol. A true lambo door just rotates straight up. And it looks like **** if it isn't on a lambo.

Plus your muffler needs to have more cubic inches than your motor...
