Finally got it started again
Monday night, I finally got my TA started again for the first time since May 05 since the mishap with the C5-R. This is with the new 402 CI LS2, motor and F1-C blower.
So hats off to the last motor that More Performance built. It fired right up and ran for about 40 minutes. We drove it around for a little while and gave it a very little nudge and saw 8psi. I thought for sure I was seeing things.
Then today, one of Michael Waltrips guys was driving it, and gave it a little nudge to 4500 rpm and 19psi. The gauge we are using has a recorder function so that's how we know.
This is with the GMPP intake and custom plenum and 2000 CFM air filter and nice big plumbing from the filter to the blower. I posted pictures a while back.
I hope to have it on the dyno this weekend and at the track early next week. Same guy will be driving it.
Nick and Bob from Williams Performance in Moorseville, performed some tweeks on the tune to get it purring along and did a fantastic job so my hats off to them. Eric Youst did a fantastic job on the fabrication work.
I will let everyone know how it does. 19PSi @4500 for me is a lot of boost aka restriction however you want to look at it. Before with the F1-R, and filter on the blower, I had to work to get 15psi.

The 2 bar on this car is the same as we talked about. But after reading the HP Tuners site, it appears the 2 bar for the GTO Twin setup will be a 2.5 not 2. So hopefully someone here will produce a part number for us so we can get your and mine setup!!!

as for the pulley combo, I am using the True tech performance Steel braket (just ilke the bracket from ATI, but in steel), the blower pulley is the 3.83, and the crank is the 7 7/8 inch from the now defunct Morgan Motorsports.

with only a 2bar your only good up to 14.7psi after that your flying blind.
seems silly not to go 3 bar, but if your bent on staying 2bar if your tuner is good he / she can make it work.
