i searched and couldn't find an answer.

does a 25% ud pulley have any effect on the power steering and/or cooling ability of the engine? car is tuned and now idles in gear and nuetral @ 800 rpm, if that makes any difference.

Not at all. I've had one in for about 2 months now and have noticed no adverse affects. My idle isn't even as high as yours. I'm at about 700 in gear no a/c and 750 w/ a/c.
