It will be listed as an RPO on your SPID sticker on the driver's side door jamb. It'll be a 3 digit code starting with two numbers and ending in the letter "U". What color car do you have? I might be able to find the code in my records....

Hmmm.... Mystic Teal Metallic perhaps? Look on that SPID sticker I mentioned for the RPO "79U". If you see it, then that's your color code.

Almost positive that's mystic teal. If so, that's a pretty rare car. Only something like 930-950 built in 01.

No kidding, actually I've never even seen a Z28 in that color before. But I did see a mystic teal V6 Camaro once, a few years ago.

Cool color.

OK, I'll appologize in advance for hi-jacking but...

I have a silver 2000 T/A, and the door has been replaced with a different color junkyard door after a wreck, so I don't have my door jamb code.

Can someone help? I need my front bumper re-painted now.

No Problem! You've come to the RPO code master.

13U is the code for Bright Silver Metallic (Pontiac) and Sebring Silver Metallic (Chevy).

Now, you're sure it's silver, right? Sometimes people call Pewter, "Silver" because they don't know what Pewter is. Not saying you don't, but just want to double check. Pewter looks more "sand/tan/goldish" than silver, if that helps.

If you think it's Pewter I can get you the code for that as well.

Great, Thanks!! I'm familiar with Pewter. Mine is definitely silver.

BTW, I'm glad you responded so quickly! My local paint supplier had already given me some 17U since neither of us was sure. Luckily he will take it back. I was going to paint a test panel first to check the color of course... but you saved me a lot of work!!

Glad to help!

Just an FYI.....looks like 17U is listed as "Light Slate Metallic". I don't think that color was ever offered on a 4th gen.
