Default Installing WS-6 hood, is current bolt-on setup compatible?

Well, I wasn't going to do it. But since I ran across some 17x9 ws-6 wheels, I am going to throw on the hood as well(as soon as I find one). But no badges. I just love the way the car looks with the hood. Yah, I could have bought a WS-6, but finding a M6 in decent shape and cheap in my area is like searching for a white elephant.

Back to the subject at hand......

I know I need a lower airbox to make this install of the WS6 hood work. The question I have is will my SLP lid and SLP CAI still be usable? Maybe I could use both the ramair from the hood and get cold air from underneath the car?

I would like to seal the box if I get the ram air hood, so I was looking at the BG ram air kit.

Some advice would be greatly appreciated.

Lastly, what would a used OEM WS-6 hood go for in normal shape?

Thanks

Default

The WS6 hood will work with the standard lower air box. You just get better air flow with the WS6 piece.
