Default Rmvb 4L60e??

I know most people say it is not good for the 4L60e but is it possible? Even on a fully built one staying out of 4th gear is there any chance of it holding up? I just think it would be fun for the street.

I have sprayed till the bottle went empty. I have sprayed in neutral, in reverse everything you can think about. My stock 4L60E lasted more then 65k miles, no problem. I have sprayed at high speeds as well.

Thats the crazy thing is some peoples tranny last a long time while under hard conditions while some don't. My is working fine im justs curious as to whether or not a Rmvb for the 4L60e is available/possible. I'm not interested in any sort of performance gain just looking for some fun on the streets. Btw ur vette looks awesome very similar to the lingenfelter vette in forza.

Thanks, it is a Lingenfelter C5. 1000 rwhp. Now I'm in the market for a bullet proof 4l65e tranny. Just having trouble finding soeone to build it. There are many great shops out there, I just want the best. When yo have 60K+ tied up in your car you want the best....

Yeah definetly. To bad the 6L80/90e isn't available. That would probably make a real sweet tranny. It would also solve the problem for some of us auto guys that like to shift gears once in a while too.

You can get the 4L80E from Yank, but go rob a bank for the 13K you'll need to get it.

Lol yeah for that much money i'd rather just drop it into the 4l60e and just buy a new short block and procharge it.
