Default Is this tranny on its way out? times/MPH

My friends car 99 formula. Ported heads, XE-R 232/234 .595/.598 112 cam, Yank SS3600, 9" w/ 4.10 gears., 26" tire. headers w/ 3" X-pipe w/ bullets/dumps.
And oh yea....stock tranny.

First track run was today. 12.2 @ 113 1.8 60ft. It hits rev limiter on every shift. Rev limiter is set to 7200 shift points are at 6700.

Now spraying a 150hp shot it went 11.4 @ 119 1.6 60ft. Not spraying off tthe line, and running out of gear way before the finish line....off the rev limiter.

Its a street car with just the AC, ABS, sway bars, sound deadener removed and draglites. Not sure the weight, but shouldnt it be way faster?
I tuned it w/ HP tuners w/ a wideband and is almost perfect.

Just curious to see some input.
Thanks,

I wonder if lowering your shift points would help.

My mph went from 113 to 126 not spraying out of the hole (150 shot), so I'd say the tranny is slipping.
