Default From shop to track clutch break in, hehehehe

Can't say enough about the Textralia clutch. Left Turbo Tech after clutch disc install and headed straight to the track. First pass on also brand new M/T Streets, was 1.6x 11.95@ 1xx n/a, and then a couple more 11.9x passes. Could have run as many passes as liked but kept it at 5 total and no more than 5500rpm clutch dumps. Clutch works great and never missed a beat. Track was slippery as hell, couldn't get traction at all, spun through all 60'ers. A couple times got side ways slammin 2nd. For those in the know, a wrinkle wall and a manual can be quite a ride, very squirlly. However, I never let up once and was all over the track. I think the tires need some additional break in, as they performed less than desireable. All in all, it was good to go racing again. Need to fine tune my tune as it was running pig rich, but that's part of the game after injector and fuel pump/system upgrade. No guys from club or ls1tech showed, but one guy with a blue conv Cobra and a Whipple was running 11.5x's and I forget his name and online name but he does sometimes come on here. A blk Z06 was there as well but couldn't get traction at all with street tires and i forget his name also. See ya guys at the track.

Sure , nothing but the best, hehehe, I wish I had the pic of the 57 chev that had a clutch explosion, the steel dash was raised about a foot, and that was after going through a cast iron bell housing and steel floor.

Thanks everyone.
Robert
