Smile Calipers Finally done

heres a picture just had time to snap one i'll have to get some good pics later.

They look good, but what did you do...drive through a pumpkin patch?

Sorry i have a gravel drive way and just pulled it out to take pics. i used the duplicolor kit. do not use the cleaner they give you with the kit to try and clean the paint it will eat the paint i had to redo them because i stripped the paint with the cleaner. thanks for the compliments

what did you use for the cleaner?i have the same kit in my garage to do mine.

btw looks good.

They look really slick. How long did it take you to do it? I want to paint mine too. I would love to paint mine pewter to match the car but I don't know where I would get the paint that would last.

I did the same thing. Duplicolor. the red sucked. I had to put on 6 coats. The black covered in one coat, but I did 2 just to be safe.

yo are correct the red did suck i had a problem with mine wanting to crack it was kinda wierd i ended up putting in over 5 hours the second time to re do it after i messed up the paint with the cleaner. there should be a caliper cleaner in your kit. use that ONLY to clean the calipers before painting. it was well worth the time and money i love the decals the most

This is what I did too...red/black combo but I didn't put on any Trans Am decals.
