Generation III External Engine - Driving W/Open Headers

Will I be safe to drive my car 20 miles with open headers to the exhaust shop? And If not what do I need to do so I dont blow out my 02 sensors?

your fine... it's a hit or miss on when those front O2's go out....

bout to drive mine with open lt's for bout a week...

some people have gone almost a year without any problems :)

i've heard that you need 18 inches of pipe past the collector so the 02's don't read any fresh air.good luck

Many people do it no issues so I would say go for it

You will be fine and Its a lot of fun to see a penny jump 6 inches out of the ashtray when you get onto the highway :)

could not stop grinning the entire time. shit is dephly loud :eek2: and the cam lopes great with a 112 lsa. gotta love that nascar sound :)
