Default Stock Ported TB gains..graph inside

I started about three months ago...i got port happy looking for extra power every where...well i think i started to get pretty good at doing tb's...i have done 3 for friends now...and they all noticed a gain...
One of them gained 1mph in the 1/8 mile with it....
Well i finally have a dyno # to back it up

I tested a stock Tb...then one of my ported tb's....these were back to back runs..take 5 min cool down for the exchange of tb's....
This comparison isnt the best result...
if you factor the best run...its a 8hp/6tq gain
Marginal results...but enough to count

So does this mean you are going to be opening shop soon? Kindof hard to see the graph. Have you done a back to back throttle response test as well?

No sir,
i am not a sponser....i just posting results to show gains.
Back to back throttle is easily a win/win situation with the ported one. It makes power across the whole rpm band.

so these gains were only seen on heavily modified engines? you might include this information...kind of like adding a fast 90 setup to a h/c car vs a bolt-on car.

porting the tb on a bolt-on car appears to be useless.
