Drag Racing Tech - The fastest anyone has gone with a TNT ring kit & LSx F-body?

I went 9.6 @ 147mph (spinning) last weekend with a 150 shot in +1000FT DA... mid 1.4 sixty... spinning into 2nd with an A4... The track prep was not stellar and my tires are at the end of thier life... this weekend I plan on hitting it with a 250HP shot at a much better track... I was wondering if anyone has broken 150mph in the 1/4 with a ring kit in an LSx F-Body?

PS. my car still has an hydraulic cam and the A4 tranny!

well...not me. but,9.6 in the 1/4mi spinning....impressive. i'm hoping to get a 9.9999 dead hooking this october when i return to the track.nice times.

As far as I know, no one with an F-Body has gone 8's with an A4... Has anyone seen 150MPH with one? I need some kind of a goal to shoot for ;)

Mike brown has done 8.6 or 8.7s with an A4 (4l80E)
its an a4, just not a 4l60e

The LPE TT Vette went 8.9 with a 4l60E, it was a pewter FRC.

No F-Body has gone 8's with a 4od trans. But you have a 700R4 so technically it's not a record that anyone would have either.

Thanks.... Current rw is 3400lbs.... Car still has the stock hood, bumpers, pop up lights, wipers, door bars,etc..... I want to get rw down to 3200lbs...
