Just got done reading the ohm tech article and now im confused. My plans are for 2 type s 10 with an alpine mrp m650 amp. Specs for the speakers are dual two ohm voice coils and a 300 rms max. The amp is a monoblock 600 watt rms. I plan on running the voice coils in series and the speakers themselves in parallel to the amp. This will produce a 2 ohm load bridged at the amp correct?

2 ohm voice coils in parallel create a 4ohm load
2 4 ohm load bridged make a 2 ohm load.

first, with a mono amp, there is no bridging.

2 ohm coils in parralel create a 1 ohm load.
2 ohm coils in series create a 4 ohm load

2 4 ohm loads in parralel create a 2 ohm final load
2 4 ohm loads in series create a 8 ohm final load

to get a final 2 ohm load, series the 2 ohm coils on each sub, and parralel each sub with each other to the amp.

Thanks for setting me straight.

so for a dual 4 ohm single speaker would be to wire both in parallel to create a final load of 2 ohms right.

correct
