Talking Got me some blackouts!

So i've wanted to black my car out forever and well. Now i freakin' have! I got rear inserts, rear blackout covers and a 3rd brake Z28 cover! The front end is gonna get done soon, but i'm giving it time. Here are the pics. More to come as soon as i get the rest of my stuff for the blackout process. But i'm too excited not to post pictures! I have the blackout covers for the headlights and i've got tinting stuff for the side, corner and fog lights. so this bad boy is going to be ALL black.

-GTS covers
-Brent Franker: black 3rd brake Z28 cover, black CAMARO inserts, custom nose badge
-Wade headlight covers(to be installed ASAP, smoked)

Oh and here's a before and after!

BEFORE

AFTER

I had to "edit" it so you can see the Z28 on there

and then another exhuast sound clip!

Sweet. Coming along nicely. You don't see too many completely blacked cars.

if by CA you mean the police down here, you can see the brake lights very well. They might harass me, but i think the sound clip tells you the real story of why they'd pull me over haha

i'm glad you guys like em'. This site usually gives pretty harsh with criticism, so its cool that you're giving some thumbs up.

Hey, don't worry 'bout it. It's your car so as long as your happy that's all that matters. Car looks clean for a 93. Keep up the good work and show us some pics of the headlight covers after the install!

And yes, i'm very happy with my car looks right now. Thanks for the compliment. Its hard to keep original paint looking decent.

I wish i had a black car, but i'm too lazy to keep a nice black car clean all the time, i'd put f-bodies to shame! haha.

I agree with the GTS emblem ditching train. And thanks for the compliments guys. It makes it worth it to know someone looks at my car and says "now thats pretty cool". I've already gotten like 5 comments and i just installed them yesterday!

Oh, i've seen yours! I asked for pics of your car cause i basically want the LT1 version of yours! haha. Diffrent rims and a 2 inch drop included for me and more black than yours in the back end. But still! Hood, spoiler and stripe=FTW!

looks awesome! very clean! so how do these things work...you just slip them inside the stock tail lights? some people paint them...but this seems to be the best application...cuz painting seems it could be un even...i dont know...i think i just need some education about this black out stuff lol

I was simply agreeing with you about removing the GTS lettering. I used fingernail polish remover to get the AVS letters off my blackouts, as well as the fading bird and Trans Am lettering. I just thought a simple "" would suffice.
