Dynamometer Results & Comparisons - Dyno'ed my Lid Only SS today

well i decided that i would like to dyno my lid only stock car today and was rather please with the outcome, other then the fact that they piced up alot of knock. here is the 3 graphs from. let me know what you think my best was 333.6 RWHP/338.1RWTQ.

What year is your car and 6 speed im assuming. Thats AWESOME numbers for a lid only car thats a freak.

Shit, I wish mine would have pulled numbers like that...I am like 23 hp and 20 tq behind you when my car only had your mods.

they said that it was picking up quite a bit of knock and i need to change my plugs and it should be in the 340's so am going to be getting a catback and some headers and change my plugs and go see what she will do after that. i was completly satisfied with the pulls

congrats on the numbers, another thing that helps is it being an 02 has an LS6 intake and better manifolds

very siick numbers man! ive seen a lot of guys dyno 320-335 stock and when they add headers and ls6 for example they seem to dyno about 340-350 i dunno why..

good numbers man. i just got my car tuned with headers and a lid. i put 352hp/360tq with the cutouts closed. i was pretty pleased with the results. good numbers!

Those are some great numbers. I'm somewhat jealous. My 02 put down 326/344 stock. It also did some excellent times at the track but it was also pretty sensitive to the quality of gas I put in it. It liked to ping at low RPMs under load. Now 30K miles later it doesn't seem to care so much about the gas, never pings and is .2 slower in the quarter.
How many miles do you have on your car?

A while back there was a thread about stock 02's (the last of the breed) coming with 243's from the factory. Is this one of them?

all 01 and 02 have the LS6 manifold.

yea i take it to the track and i ran a best of 13.3 not hooking up at all i know it could do better, i dont know what you mean by corrected

I'd say that's about the norm for an 02 SS 6spd. My buddies put down 320rwhp bone stock down to the paper filter with about 25k on the odometer.

My 98 put down 333/345 SAE a year ago with the mods in my sig(except the clutch...I'd expect it to put down more now with the waaayy lighter flywheel and non-slipping clutch). It had around 103k miles on it at the time.

Wow thats unbeliable.. My buddies 02 SLP SS dynoed 317rwhp with Lid, K&N, No cats and a flowmaster catback... So you dynoed 15 more rwhp then he did without exhaust...

Wait, so did this car come with the 345 hp SLP performance package? If so it came stock with a blackwing lid, SLP dual duals on top of an LS6 intake. Good numbers, but I wouldnt go call it a freak. My car has a lid and catback and is putting down 328. If you do have the SLP package, this goes to show how well their dual duals flow.

an LS6 longblock WILL give you more power, shortblock.. nope. Great numbers man, although I doubt you'll make 340 with fixing your plugs, if you do, your probably the first to ever. Thats almost LS6 territory. I did 316/341 with a lid and cutout, on a 98 A4.

That's some impressive numbers. Your car is a freak. Hope those TR6's help with any knock that your car is experiencing.

BTW, good idea updating the suspension before the power mods first. I got it the other way around, and am now having to update the suspension components.

great numbers man!! i wish i had the money to dyno my ride, im an A4 and i was running 13.2 all day long bone stock, worst run was a 13.6(very first). Im a vert too boot, so i figure with the extra wieght and the decent numbers, i should be over the 300 mark at the wheels!!!

yeah one of my friends M6 car dynoed 330whp bone stock! paper filter and all. we did lid, hooker lt, ory, flowmaster catback, hypertech tune lol :( this was back in the day! And on picked up 12whp :( lol he did 342whp adding all that!

awesome numbers man! i am the second owner of my 01 a4 ss, and there was a dyno sheet in the glove compartment when i test drove it, it said 339/354. when the car got "cleaned" at the dealer to get ready for me to take it, they threw away everything in the glove box and only left the window sticker and lug key, i was pissed!! But it seems to be stock, i can't find anything that even remotly looks aftermarket under the hood
