A little dissapointed in my car...
Hey there
Well maybe I should be...
I raced a friend on the highway and he stay right with me.... I maybe took like a couple of feet infront thats all on a long run...
His car and mods..: Corvette 2002, manual, air intake.
My mods: 2002 Camaro Convetibel.
TSP Torquer cam, PRC 5.3 heads, headders, louthmouth, automatic, 3000stall, moser 12 bolt, bigger swaybars, bigger torque arm.
I see the problem is the weight of my car is proberly MUCH higher than his and that's why I can't run away from him...... Iwould really appriciate any good advise you guys have....

UPDATE: I found out my car is a PIG........ had it on a scale.... 4100pounds....

I would say two things are contributing to the way your highway run turned out. First of all, his vette (I'm assuming it's not a vert) is more aerodynamic than your vert camaro. The weight difference doesn't help either. Another thing is his car is an M6, which is better from a roll than your A4. Have you raced him from a dig? I'm positive that your stalled H/C A4 will tear him up from a dead stop. If not, then something is wrong with your car or he has more than intake mods.

Well you are all right... thx. for the reply's
anyway.... I just got my Moser 12 bolt and a Rock-ON tranny in... and from a dig the car is REALLY good.... I see NOS in the future for the car, and now I have a good excuse why I should always have more HP than my friends.... ;-)

Power to weight is everything! Thats why corvette's are so damn fast. Your car needs a diet quick, 4100lbs is killing your very strong car. Take others advise and go from a dig, he wont want to race from a dig again. Good luck and post results!
