Default Twin screw on an F-body?

Does anyone make a twin screw SC that will fit on an LS1 F-body? I have looked around on Kenne Bell's, Whipple's, and Magnacharger's websites, and I haven't seen anything for F-bodies. I imagine it's hard to squeeze one under our cowls.

There are a few people that talk bout them, it seems to be kinda a touchy subject. It has been done but only by people who did alot of custom work to make it fit. I'm trying to do this also right now with a M112 Eaton off a Cobra. It's kinda going slow right now because I can't find any M112s for sale for a good price. Once I get one it should go quickly though. Once I get some good progess I plan on posting pictures, but until then its just planing and designing. I hope to eventually mount a nice Twin Screw on top and go for big power but for now a roots is gonna have to do.

I've got one word....Search

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...kenne+bell+ls1

https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthrea...ots+blower+ls1

and there are many many many more where these came from...Just type in roots+ls1 or kenne bell+ls1 or any combo that you want....

BTW I'm going to SEMA this year where the Kenne Bell is supposed to be dubuted there...Going to take pics like crazy... =)

Translation...NO. And I E-mailed Kenne Bell about a month ago and they said that they do not have any applications for F-bodies and gave no further information to implicate that one was in the works.

Because they dont want customers haacking up their cars just to fit their products.

Has it been done? Yes

Will there be a "kit"? No

The people who've done it took the time out to make all the cutting and BS work. KB, Whipple and all those other companies know there isnt a lot of room to work with and they arent going to take the time out to develop something like that when they've got Cobras, Lightnings and Vettes that keep their doors open.

As I said, its been done. Ive seen 4-5 Magnacharged Fbodies on the boards, so its not impossible to make one fit, but Im sure its not a "weekend" project like a Procharger.

i dont think the magnachargers are worth it due to the low hp numbers on the cars that have them. the kb's are just too big i think. i dont see them being able to fit due to the windsheild.

This is what you do:

1. Call Bob at EPP.

2. Get yourself a D1SC

3. Write home about it.

Another option might be the Harrop kit ???

Its original rootes type was obviously for the Monaro/GTO. They have now modified that kit internally, and it has become a twin screw.

it would be along similar lines to a maggie, albeit it no in twin screw format.

The GTO accessory drive is as close to a Camaro as need be.

As far as I know, NO ONE has fit a TWIN SCREW in an F-Body. Maggies which are a roots style have been stuffed in with some cutting.

Would it be so hard for those who have done it to get on here and tell us how?
