<img border="0" alt="[gruffy cottonball]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_gruffy.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[evil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" /> Man this is what I've been waiting for and it is worth it. This is going to look great next to my Dads 64 G.T.O I do have one gripe, wheres the hoodscoops?
G.T.O's need to have scoops. My Dad is going to flip when he sees the pics. This car is awesome. Holden makes a badass car. So whats first, 389(or as close as possible) Stroker? S/C? Turbo? Or a combo of the three. SO WHERES the HP/TQ specs? I grew up with a 64 Tri Power/4speed Goat to ride around in, and man this is going to be great, I have my first son(first baby) due in feb and now he will have the same thing I had when I was a lil kid. My S/C 98 Bird is one bad mutha but its not the G.T.O, Well who wants to buy a ATI powered Formula A4? I know my dad will be throwing down the $$ right away to get his to compliment his '64. There was nothing like it when my dad would get on the onramp when I was little to "clean the pipes out" and smash the pedal down and those 3 dueces would open up and make a awesome sound and the car would leap foward like a rocket, the torque it has is outrageous and would scare the crap out of me, but I grew up to be a Torque lovin Pontiac Man.
<img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> G.T.O, the time machine has come back from a long journey.

Put some decent wheels on it and it might not look TOO bad. Those wheels look like 3 day old vomit. <img border="0" alt="" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />
Also, the car needs t-tops. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
When and if a JUDGE version comes out that might look cool. This car is just too plain for me. Needs a more aggrisive hood, and A LOT (let me stress [b]A LOT) better looking wheels.

So when are they available for order. I have a 2001 Ford Windstar ready for trade...She'll get used to it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_images/icons/tongue.gif" />

See now, with some decent wheels it's not a half bad looking car <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
I'd like to see it in NBM or maybe BSM with some TT2s or some chrome ZO6 wheels <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> That would probably look sweet... <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Does anybody have a good engine compartment shot? Is the LS1 shoved all back up under the cowl like it is on the F-Body? I sure hope not. It would be nice to have some manifold choice.
Personally, I'm okay with the car being fugly. GTOs were always fugly. I mean, the catalina and the lemans were never supposed to be good looking cars. They were just generic mid-size family cars that got a big block shoved in them. This new "GTO" is holding fairly true to that concept, except of course there is no big block anymore. The LS1 is the best we've got.

Here is a picture of my engine bay, excuse the mess but it is a work truck <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> my engine also doesn't have any covers on it so it's not so perty.

I see no reason there would be any problem to fit any type of after market/custom manifold on the engine as the body work is a long way from any part of the engine/intake.
Not the best photo for your needs but I hope it helps.
The brace between the shock towers is an after market item and it is help reduce body flex when cornering etc.
