Default Exhaust pipe suggestions

I like to put pacesetters on my LS1 Camaro and like to get your opinions on the pipe size.
I was thinking to get 1 3/4 primery tube headers and use 3 inch X pipe, right after the x pipe connect it to my 2.5" dual system.
Should I use the 3" X pipe kit or 2.5" X pipe kit? And your opinions on the primery tubes for the pace setters?

It's a 2001 LS1 with all stock.

Default

2.5" is fine for a stock motor. If you are planning on running some bigger hp later on the 2.5" pipe can get restrictive.

Other than that I would go 2.5" X and 2.5" Duals.
