Can anyone vouch for the brightness of LEDs vs the stock bulbs? I've been hearing a lot of "it's not bright enough to be seen in daylight", which is a huge hazard.

Yeah, I would love to switch to LEDs because the bulbs i use always melt the clear corner housings. But the primary reason I havent switched to LEDs yet is because Ive always heard they arent bright enough.

My buddy has LEDs, and I haven't seen his car since he did his fronts, but I did see the back, and they are very dim. I was able to see them, but they didn't light up that bright at all. I wouldn't like them.

I have leds in my side markers, mirror and dome lights, and the lisence plate light. I got the interior leds from http://www.ledgauges.com and the others at www.superbrightleds.com. For all the exterior leds, I used WLED-x5 LED Wedge Base Bulbs from http://www.superbrightleds.com/mini-wedge.html

They are very close to the same brightness as the stock lights, but I'm still using the stock corners, not sure how it would look with clear ones.

high intensity discharge LEDs are on their way in, so I'm sure when they are available to the masses they'll be bright enough for daytime use!

man the white WLED-x5 bulbs come off more light blue than they do white, pisses me off! I've never had a problem with superbrightleds either!

I thought the same thing with both the wled-x5 and the wled-x6 led ones.
