First major kill since my mods and it was a c-6 zo6!!! Well I been trying to fix a fuel pressure problem that I noticed yesterday and have been posting and reading threads all yesterday and today. So today I went to fill my tank as to eliminate the possibilites that I might be starving my fuel pump of fuel and headed to the interstate to check what would happen. Well, after getting off the interstate and seeing that my FP was still dipping I headed home. As I was cruising home I stopped the car to check the gauges for about 3-4 mins. I then started my journey back home on a long streach of road (2 miles at least) when I looked back and a beautiful c-6 zo6 with the side vents and all was right behind me. I down shifted to 3rd and made sure to have it on the power band. The zo6 then signaled and got on the lane next to me. The z06 cam right next to me (driverside) and I looked and it was some rich man (50's) and his his wife reading the paper. I waved to him and he waved back and it was on we both hit it and went I looked down 110-115 I had about 1-1 1/4 cars on him. When I shifted into 4th he kind of inched up, but when 4th was fully engaged I gained back the inches. What do you guys think about this kill is it possible do you think that guy wasn't on the right gear or can I consider this a legit kill because I'm pretty happy about the kill I'm all smiles right now as I right this.. After I got off the gas the guy in the zo6 came up and gave me the thumbs up, which I thought was very cool of him. Oh yea I almost forgot this race happened in Mexico where I live from time to time..Ha-ha

I would say that with your rwhp and what I see them putting down around here, it is a kill. 460-480 is what they do stock. plus he had a passenger. Good kill! Nice car to.

good kill that had to be so much fun beating one of those. But what i want to know is if the wife kept reading the paper or did she start yelling at him or did she get into it?

Good Job against the old man. i too own a 06Z06 and would have given you the thumbs after you beat my ***. I may not have liked it but getting beat by a faster car or a better driver is just the "way it goes" at least it wasn't a mustang!! Oh and by the way my wife would have "sh** herself"

Yeah mjy wife ***** herself.....unless she is driving. Damn but if horns dont grow when she is behind the wheel!lol But if I am driving...............the phraze "You son of a bitch"! is common.lol
