raced a new z06 its been a long time since i have raced but today there was a z06 on the way home from pittsburgh. i was hoping he would race and he did. i dont really know what speed we were at but i honked and we took off and he pulled me by about two cars or so until we shut down. i knew i would lose but it was fun and i thought i did pretty well. maybe next year i can take em.

Daamn he only pulled you by 2 cars?!? You must have a fast *** car!!! I thought it would've been worst for a just a stalled, cammed F-Bod. Not saying Stalled & Cammed cars are slow, I just seen C6 zo6's rape H\C cars. What do you put down?

cobalt is right their 1st gear is 0-60.. thats why their 0-60 time is very good. no shifting 
. thos ecars are beasts. even an ls1 with more HP wont win unless one it has a decent ammount more of hp or its from a stop .
though TAs were designed in air chambers and to most other cars are superior in wind drag. the vettes are that much more superior to us TA/maros. and isnt their fianl gear taller than the almighty roll racing 2.73's?

I've got the best of both worlds, but without a doubt, my heads / cam SS doesn't even come close to the Z06, especially past 120mph... the ss at anything from 120 to 180 (top speed) is just stupid scary, kinda like a Caddy on steroids, the Z06 builds confidence.

I've been looking for one to race but I just don't see them very often and even if I do it's some old dude thats scared to put his foot down anyway. Your lucky you got to race one. I would get wacked from a roll but I think I could take one from a dig, at least for a 1/4 mile. Those cars are very impressive.
