Default SLP keeps popping off with SLP bellow

So I popped the hood a few days after installing the SLP bellow and noticed one side of the lid had popped off. It keeps happening. I know I read another thread where people were having the same fitting problems but is there some type of mod for this to keep the lid secured? The bellow was such a hassle to get on.

Mine has pretty much all but destroyed my lid. I think I'm going to get a TSP lid then find a nice soft piece of silicone tubing at a hardware store or somthing and make my own.

hey man, do what i did, go to home depot or a hardware store like that and go to the plumbing section(i think, might be wrong) and look for the short pieces of rubber, about the same size as a bellow, and get the Fernco one(its stamped into the rubber) that is 3" at each end! Works just as well as the overpriced SLP Bellow and only cost a couple of bucks!
Take it home, trim off maybe 1/4" off one end so the lid will not pop off, then boil it until it gets soft and put it on and walla!!!!!!!

Exclamation

Factory is fine unless you need 0.00000000000000000000001 of a horse.

Hey mine was doing the same thing when I first put my lid on. Just make sure and tighten everything before installing the lid in the holes. Tighten the bellow to the throttle body and maf and make sure its snug. Then tighten the lid to the maf. Your gonna need to bend the tabs a lil don't be scuuuuuuuuuured. It will fit like a glove and those snaps will never come lose again. And best of all you don't need to cut anything. Hopefully it works for you as good as it did for me
