Hello!

Can someone tell me the pros and cons of rotrex vs others centrifugal(like vortec,ati..) superchargers?

I am looking for something easy to maintain and as silent as possible for my STOCK 2004 LS6.

Con: small unit, mostly specced on much smaller engines, limited amount of airflow

If you want quiet, not silent by the way, try the Vortech SQ (superquiet) unit.

And inefficient, and problematic, and poorly crafted... I just remember the kits for the f-bodies weren't too great.... Lots of overheating problems, easily maxed out, and poor quality.

Quiet?!? Ahhh c'mon now... Go loud!

I'd look into the SQ (previously mentioned), but make sure you know exactly what you want before buying. Do your research, then do it again.

I got a good offer for SQ unit at one of the big vette tuners. Should i ask something more ?
