i was on my way to a friends house yesterday just cruising through the backroads when all of a sudden a 05/06 mustang gt comes riding up on my ass! i had the t-tops off and my cutouts open with the music blaring and could still hear this guy. he had a loud exhaust and was whining the gears out. so i was like, why not. i slam it in 2nd and take off. i see his front end lift and try to keep up. we go for about 7 or 8 miles worth of me just abusing him. im not saying my car is setup for the turns like a vette would be, but i was whipping around the corners no slower than 70 to 80 mph. i stayed in 3rd and 4th gear the whole time. we get up to this straightaway and i slow down to about 10mph and put it in first. i wait for him to catch up and get beside me. i say go ahead when u want, ill catch up. :jest: he takes off and i take off right after him, before i get out of 2nd im already in front and keep pulling til the 130. it was a great day. i made a 15 min cruise into a couple minutes of fun. :drive: sorry for being so long. thanx.
