Wheels & Tires - drag wheels

I read the drag wheel sticky so there is no drag wheel you can purchase that you dont have to grind the rear calipers down. Im willing to get a 16inch rim but i cant find any what would be the best size rim and tire combo for my car. I have a extra set of 2 16x8 zr1s layin around. How tall of a tire could i put on thoes..

Or is there a set of 15inch rims i could get that dont require grinding??
