Default 68 Firebird - Is this Normal?

I have a 68 Firebird witha rear multileaf spring stock suspension. When I stand facing the rim there is more space in front of the tire than behind it. Is this normal? I have new bushings, shackles, and shocks (all stock).

It's not uncommon to have more room to the front versus the rear in a car. If the car still has the factory axle perches and rear shackles you can assume it is factory set. My Nova has more room at the front than the rear with the 28" tall slicks on it, but luckily doesn't rub!
