Default 03 snake vs. me

back when i had just 4.10s and a lid he took me twice by half a car up to 115. ive only lost one other time around here to a heavily modded SOM Z28.

my question is what are the SC 03 snakes makin on the dyno? he said he had x pipe and a couple other small mods.

Most stock putting 360-380 to the wheels. However, one of the little boltons could be a pulley; that puts him well over the 400rwhp mark. Don't take them lightly.

He probably lied as well. Who cares, just race him. Any car can be beaten, even modded Cobras.

If by small mods he means no pullies, he can still have 400rwhp with bolt-ons. They make a ton of ponies just from intake/exhaust.

not sayin i did or would. but i think if he had any driving skills, even a stock one should have beaten me worse than that considering all i had was 4.10s and a lid

wonder what kind of power numbers a 2002 T/A or SS would have made with a SC from the factory on it. more than 360-380 im guessing

Those are good for at least 850rwhp.

ROFL, and thats with only the 6 jiggawat flux capacitor. And as for the comment about GM, blower stock blahh blahh. They did not come with one and Cobra's did get over it. I own an f-bod and am tired of this bullshit bench racing attitude. Cobra's with only I/E dyno over 400 rwhp with 30 minutes of mods in your driveway. A pulley, x-pipe, catback and tune gets you 450-460 and equal or more tq. I prefer my car for personal reasons but respect and love 03 Cobras. If the interior ergonomics were not so shitty I would buy one but I feel all discombobulated in them due to pedal, seating, shifter etc... locations.

I've wanted a run with a S/C Cobra since I got my 4.10s in, but I figured it would have to be bone stock for me to be even close (and I still think I wouldn't hold up to it) But I live up here in little bitty Enid (I noticed you are from Norman-GO POKES ) and there are only two '03-'04s that I know of.

But this just dosn't sound right. An S/C Cobra with mods only taking a lid and geared LS1 by half a car. I'm not trying to call BS or anything because I know that anything is possible on the street, but it sounds like the Cobra needs the driver mod.

My 03 dynod at 404 whp with just the K&N FIPK (intake) and Bassani exhaust. I raced a SS and pulled him pretty easily.

What'd you dyno stock again, Quik Z06? I know you left it stock for a whole week, or whatever , but I was just wondering.

Ahh, good old Enid. I went to pilot training there and met my wife there. I'll have to keep my eyes open when I go back to visit my in-laws.

Yeah, I think the first post about the Cobra you mentioned the stock numbers like they were an afterthought.

Whoa, did you sell the Evo? Your sig changed for the first time in, uh, a couple years, haha.
