Looking for Houston area SS Hey guys, I was going to post this in the WTB Car section, but then I figured it would probably be more useful to post it here..so I hope thats okay. I've been looking around Houston for the last month or so for a 2000-02 Camaro SS, so far not much luck. Ya'll wouldn't happen to know anyone with a low mileage SS sitting in a garage somewhere would ya? I've been watching LS1tech, Autotrader, and Houston Chron and haven't really seen much come on the market.
One car I did find is a 2000 SS, fully loaded with low miles..Asking price was about 15.9k, but I just found out he had a minor accident when it was new, his wheel clipped a culvert I believe it was, and the dealership ended up replacing suspension/wheel and a few other things. Other then that the car seems to be in good condition and has been garaged with 14k miles. You guys think this will cause any problems? Ask for lower price..Or should I let a test drive be the judge of that? But anyway, I just thought I would ask around here first, before deciding anything on that car.
If anyone happens to know somewhere or someone that has a nice SS, this is pretty much what im looking for:
2000-02 SS, Manual, T-Tops, Leather(dark/black preferred), Power everything, Monsoon(is a plus), Low Mileage is a HUGE plus as I need a reliable car(other camaro's are dying on me). As far as color..Silver, Black and NBM would be top of list, but it depends on the car.
Any comments or suggestions would be appreciated, and if I posted this in wrong place just lemme know..
